Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Outdoors. Dusty. Work setting: Various locations. Rural area. Oilfield construction industry. Tasks: Manipulate sections of pipes or drill stems at rig floor during drilling and during removal and replacement of pipes, drill stems and drill bits. Drive trucks to transport materials and well service equipment. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Load, unload and transport construction materials. Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Field work location experience: Alberta. Area of work experience: Oil or gas pipelines. Transportation/travel information: Willing to travel. Willing to travel regularly. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Overtime required.
