Maintain existing computer programs by making modifications as required. Communicate technical problems, processes and solutions. Assist in the development of logical and physical specifications. Research and evaluate a variety of software products. Supervisory Experience. Program programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Supervise technicians, technologists and other engineers and review and approve designs, calculations and cost estimates. Collaborate with specialists to develop programs for clients' special needs. Supervision: Industrial electricians. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Certified Computing Professional (CCP). Computer and technology knowledge: Programming software. Computer-aided design (CAD). API. MS Excel.
