Company Background Donalds Fine Foods, a family-owned global provider of high-quality specialty meat products, has an exciting opportunity for experienced Meat Cutters/Butchers, based out of our Moose Jaw, SK location. Brief Job DescriptionAn Industrial Butcher employee is responsible for assisting with various production needs. All production work will be carried out efficiently while having the highest priority on safety. ResponsibilitiesMay include one or more of the following tasks:1. Weigh/ push carcasses, skinner operator, loin puller, hock/front foot saw, stun/shackle, leaf lard puller, gams and rollers defect detector 2. Probe operator, Printer scale operator, COV machine operator, shoulder/picnic saw operator. 3. Primal deboning, trim loins/bellies, whizard knife operators, break table operators. Stick Hogs, evisceration table, break heads, hog receiving, bung gun, offal trimmer, knife sharpener. 4. Loin & belly bad saw operator, belly sheet ribbers, back bone band saw operator5. Open brisket/pull tongue, splitting saw held rail, gutter, gam, pre-gut6. Neck bone removal, loin boing7. Communicate effectively with Plant Manager, Plant Superintendent, and Lead Hands to ensure cuts are being performed as required8. Perform other duties as assigned9. Follow all Work Safe SK, CFIA, HACCP, and other applicable regulations Requirements:1. Ability to accurately work at production line speed2. Ability to follow all safe work procedures3. Ability to communicate in English4. Consistent commitment to working safely5. Demonstrated ability to react to situations with a strong sense of urgency using a creative and logical approach to resolution6. Ability to work in a team based environment- LocationMoose Jaw, SK
