Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio. Tasks: Shampoo customers' hair. Supervise other hair stylists and other staff. Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair. Apply hair extensions. Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair. Suggest hair style compatible with client's physical features and preferences. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Hairstylist Trade Certification. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Standing for extended periods. Personal suitability: Client focus.
