Casual Facility Operators @ Prairie South Schools (South Schools) <p>CUPE Posting Number: 44-2023-2024Position Type: CasualHours of Work: As neededStart Date: As neededDuties: <p>The Facility Operator cleans and maintains the interior and exterior of school division buildings and their surrounding grounds and assists the Head Facility Operator.Education & Qualifications: <p> A minimum of a Grade 10 diploma from a recognized educational institution as approved by the<p>Board of Education or General Educational Development (GED)<p> Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (W.H.M.I.S.) Certificate (provided upon hire)<p> Six (6) months experience in a cleaning/caretaking position<p> A working knowledge of computers<p> A valid Class 5 drivers license<p> A valid Firemans certificate is an asset. Physical Requirements: Good physical condition with the ability to do heavy work is required (i.e., exerting up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally, up to 50 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects)<p> The ability to work off lifts, in crawlspaces, attics, roofs, and ladders<p>Wage & Benefits: <p>In accordance with the current CUPE Local 5512 Collective Bargaining Agreement.
