Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Noisy. Tasks: Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications. Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment. Document work completed. Investigate problems to fix or make minor repair. Lay out, set up and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines. Operate gas or oil fired furnace to heat metal to proper temperatures prior to forging. Operate machines or equipment which weld, solder, bolt, screw or rivet metal parts together. Operate presses or other forging machines to perform hot or cold forging to shape or form metal. Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Weight handling: More than 45 kg (100 lbs). Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.- LocationMississauga, ON
