The South East Cornerstone Public School Division is looking for a permanent full-time Registered Psychologist.<p>Term: <p>Start Date: As soon as possible / As mutually agreed upon<p>End Date:<p>Tenure: <p>Permanent<p>Hours of Work: <p>Equivalent to 37.5 hours per week<p>Reporting to the Coordinator of Student Services, the Registered Psychologist consults and collaborates with teachers, administrators, parents and other personnel or agencies to design, monitor and assist in the delivery of interventions designed for the students development. They provide individual assessment information about a student that will lead to information, strategies, resources, and supports to assist in the students overall development. <p>Required Education, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience: A Masters Degree in a related discipline of Psychology<p> A minimum of 3 years experience as a Registered Psychologist or equivalent or a provisional Registered Psychologist (with an Education degree) <p> Eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists as a full-practicing member with an Authorized Practice Endorsement (APE)<p> Licensed and maintain membership through the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists<p> Possess a current and valid Drivers License<p> Experience in the delivery of human services would be an asset<p> Proficiency in the operation of computers, word processing applications and additional software comparable to those currently used in the school divisionRequired Skills and Abilities: <p> Ability to maintain strict confidentiality<p> Ability to establish a strong rapport with students, families and school personnel<p> Ability to manage high stress situations<p> Ability to work as a team player<p> Ability to work with children with physical and emotional needs <p> Excellent interpersonal skills<p> Display a positive attitude and work ethic to represent the Student Services area<p> Ability to successfully contribute as part of a case management team<p> Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple demands and effectively manage time<p> Proficiency in the operation of computers, word processing applications and additional software comparable to those currently used in the school division<p> Ability to conduct successful workshops on applicable knowledge area topics<p> Ability to plan for program improvement based on data, in-service, and feedback<p> Basic organizational skills, recordkeeping skills and clerical proceduresDuties and Responsibilities:<p>Without restricting the generality of the purpose above, the Registered Psychologist shall perform such duties and responsibilities as may be assigned including but not restricted to the following: Participate as an active member of the Student Services team in carrying out the vision and mission of SECPSD<p> Act as a psychological resource to the education system<p> Bring a psychological approach to the analysis of a students behavioral and/or learning challenges<p> Identify and assess the learning and developmental characteristics and needs of students, as well as the environmental factors that affect learning and achievement<p> Conduct psychoeducational assessments including the administration of standardized assessment tools (measuring cognitive ability, academic functioning, executive functioning skills, and/or socio-emotional and behaviour functioning, etc.), interpretation of testing results, report writing, and debriefing of testing results <p> Provide classroom and other environmental observations, file review, gathering case history information through interviews and checklists, and reviewing other professional assessments of the student<p> Provide the data from a psy
