Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Noisy. Dusty. Tasks: Operate blade or wire saws to cut blocks of stone to specified dimensions. Operate machines to grind and polish surfaces of stone blocks, slabs or other stone products to specific shape or design and to produce a smooth finish. Operate machines to drill holes in blocks or slabs of stone according to specifications. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Screening questions: Are you currently a student?. Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?.
