As the Accountant, you will: - Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.- Complete bank reconciliations- Tax returns and Notice to Reader preparation.- Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to the management team.- Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial planning. As the Accountant, you will bring: - A minimum of 4 years of full cycle accounting experience.- Leadership experience is ideal.- A keen enthusiasm for expanding and building on your knowledge of personal and corporate tax.- Knowledge of Canadian tax and financial regulations and accounting standards.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Exceptional customer service.- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office suite. Role Criteria: - Full time, Monday to Friday 8.00 am 4.30 pm.- Some work outside standard hours may be required.- Flexibility for a hybrid work environment- Client front facing role.- Sitting at a desk for prolonged periods- Extended screen time All candidates with the required qualifications will be considered.
