Greentree Accountant-Bookkeeper Job Posting Greentree Engineering Ltd. has a full-time position open for an experienced accountant with bookkeeping and office management background. The experienced candidate will have the skills and background to provide expert financial oversight and record-keeping in a busy technical consulting business setting. Responsibilities* Organize all accounting transactions in close cooperation with management. * Prepare budget forecasts for particular projects with the input of technical staff and management* Produce financial statements and project progress statements* Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings* Reconcile accounts payable and receivable* Ensure timely bank payments* Compute taxes and submit remitances* Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements* Report on the companys financial health and liquidity* Audit financial transactions and documents* Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary* Comply with financial policies and regulations Requirements and skills* Work experience as a private business accountant* Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)* Hands-on experience with accounting software like QuickBooks* Advanced spreadsheet skills, and capability to learn and master project database input * Experience with general ledger functions* Strong attention to detail, good analytical skills in a deadline-based business * BSc in accounting, finance or relevant degree, or advanced experience with related business Position details * 40 hours per week full time position* Full health/dental benefits* Flexible schedule and negotiable hours ** Location of position is negotiable: Tisdale, Nipawin or Saskatoon are options- LocationSaskatoon, SK
