We're currently seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team. At Meadow Lake Dental we understand the importance of a work/life balance and offer great flexibility for our staff. Hours of Operation: Monday-Thurday: 8:00 - 4:00 Friday: 8:00 - 1:00 Summer schedule (July/August): Monday-Thurday: 8:00 - 4:00 Friday: CLOSED Closed evenings and weekends Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist. As a vital member of our dental practice, you will play a key role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional patient care. Responsibilities: -Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing to remove plaque, calculus, and stains from teeth. -Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments, including checking for signs of gum disease, cavities, oral cancer, and other oral health issues. -Capture dental radiographs (X-rays) to assist in the diagnosis of dental conditions. -Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and diet recommendations. -Maintain accurate patient records, including charting treatments and documenting oral health assessments. -Follow strict protocols for sterilizing dental instruments and maintaining infection control standards to ensure patient safety. -Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene techniques, equipment, and procedures through continuing education and professional development activities. -Communicate effectively with patients to address their concerns, answer questions, and ensure they understand their treatment options and oral health recommendations. Qualifications: -Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in Saskatchewan. -CPR certification. -Excellent clinical skills and attention to detail. -Strong communication and interpersonal skills. -Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care. -Ability to work effectively in a team environment. -Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct.
