Start Date: As soon as possible Qualifications: Ability to deal tactfully and cooperatively with public, students, staff<p> Proficient in the use of all hand tools and equipment<p> Good mechanical ability with strong capabilities in the area of troubleshooting<p> Good physical condition<p> Previous cleaning and floor care experience in a public Facility<p> Self-directed, able to complete assigned tasks without supervisionDuties (may include but are not limited to): Daily cleaning and disinfecting when students are in attendance <p> Special cleaning during school breaks<p> Minor repairs and maintenance<p> Operating mechanical equipment such as snow blower, lawn mower, power scrubber etc. <p> Yard work, including snow removal and lawn mowing <p> Extensive lifting may be required up to and including 20kg. <p>Benefits: Positive work environment<p> Pay range: $20.82 to $22.37 per hour <p>Applications must be submitted prior to 3:00 p.m. on April 22, 2024.<p>For more information about this position, please contact Shauna Lacher, Manager of Human Resources by email at slacher@chinooksd.ca Please submit your application to the attention of Shauna Lacher, Manager of Human Resources.All Applicants will be subject to an interview prior to being employed by the division. <p>Please note: all successful applicants must agree to a Criminal Record Check including a Vulnerable Sector Search as a condition of employment.- LocationShaunavon
