*Elements Casino Grand River is seeking a Part-Time EVS Attendant.* *Position Summary* Under the direct supervision of the Operations Supervisors and/or Operations Managers, this position is responsible for daily cleaning and maintenance of all public areas in the Casino while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment. Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian's learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. *Benefits of Choosing Elements Casino Grand River* * Group Benefits after three (3) months * RSP Matching after six (6) months * Discount for eligible food venues on site * Referral bonus *Key Accountabilities* * Vacuums hallways, ceiling vents, meeting rooms and general public areas * Cleans and dusts fixtures, ash urns, walls, signs, sconces, stairwells, door frames, public telephones, etc. * Delivers housekeeping items to rooms as requested * Maintains all housekeeping storage areas * Polishes chrome and other materials requiring special care * Cleans office spaces * Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments * Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders (guests, ownership and team members) * Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations * Performs other duties as assigned or directed *Education and Qualifications* * High School Diploma * Minimum 1 year housekeeping/janitorial experience * Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License *All candidates must be ready and willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays and overnights.* *Work Environment Considerations* * Standing or walking for long periods of time, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, stretching, cleaning, some exposure to heat and cold, some exposure to smoke, non-traditional work hours Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: From $19.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Discounted or free food * Extended health care * On-site parking * RRSP match * Tuition reimbursement * Vision care Flexible Language Requirement: * French not required Ability to commute/relocate: * Elora, ON N0B 1S0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Application question(s): * Do you have any condition or restriction that would prevent you from working all shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays?
