The National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB®) is the organization responsible for establishing and maintaining a national standard of competence for dentists in Canada. Its mission is to serve the Canadian public, Dental Regulatory Authorities, and dental education institutions by ensuring a valid and reliable evaluation of competence for dentists in Canada.
In this newly created term role, you will analyze trends with respect to success rates of various groups of candidates and other pertinent data. Your initial focus will be to consolidate data from various in-house databases to analyze and respond to requests from select external Stakeholders.
*ADDITIONAL DUTIES*
* Analyze examination data, process scores and conduct quality assurance to ensure the integrity and quality of all data and results ? includes performing statistical and psychometric analyses, anticipating next steps and providing short summary of results
* Prepare tables and figures for various reports (e.g., Annual report, reports to universities, technical reports), the NDEB website and assist in the automation of report generation to increase efficiency and decrease errors
*EXPERIENCE*
* 3+ years? experience in a data environment
* Knowledge of statistical, research and measurement principles and procedures
* Experience with documentation, performing statistical analysis and programming code
* Experience in database management, processing, manipulating and merging large datasets
* Experience managing multiple priorities
*COMPETENCIES*
* Highly developed attention to detail
* Exceptional organizations skills
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
* Ability to lead a project from beginning to end
* Strong communications skills both verbal and written
*EDUCATION*
* Masters in statistics, mathematics, educational measurement, psychometrics, psychology, quantitative methodologies or equivalent
