Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Work setting: Esthetician's salon. Beauty shop or aesthetic service. Tasks: Arrange for maintenance and repair work. Assist clients/guests with special needs. Be the point of contact when in need to handle emergency situations. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers. Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies. Pedicures. Manicures. Establish work schedules and procedures. Provide gel and acrylic nail extensions. Apply or remove artificial nails and nail art. Supervision: 5-10 people. Area of work experience: Esthetician. Area of specialization: Business management.
