International & Indigenous Languages Elementary Summer Program with our Continuing Education Department. <p>Are you passionate about languages and culture? Ready to embark on a linguistic journey and help foster a lifelong love for languages in young learners? If youve answered yes to these questions and want to be part of a community of professionals working to make a difference in the lives of so many young people, then we may just have an opportunity for you ! <p>Our International Language Instructors will have an opportunity to teach Elementary students who wish to preserve their language and cultural heritage as well as Elementary students who wish to study and learn the traditions and culture of another language. <p>Please Note : The summer program will run Monday to Friday 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. daily from July 2, 2024 to July 26, 2024 for in-class delivery contingent upon sufficient program(s)/course(s) enrollment and may be cancelled for reasons as determined by the Board. <p> This position is on as needed basis, filling in for International Language Instructors who may be away during the summer program.LANGUAGES & LOCATIONS available for Supply work: Please indicate on your application in the job questions area, the language(s)/location for which you are applying to: Languages: Italian, Japanese and Spanish <p> Locations: Saint Michael Catholic High School, Niagara Falls<p> Holy Cross Catholic Secondary School, St. Catharines <p> Blessed Trinity Catholic Secondary School, Grimsby WHAT YOU BRING: Must be fluent in the target language<p> Familiarity with language teaching methodologies<p> Instruction in the target language<p> Experience working with international languages an asset<p> Excellent classroom management skills<p> Experience working with students and knowledge of differentiated instructionRATE OF PAY: $ 30.27 per hour inclusive of vacation pay and any statutory holidays as per C.U.P.E.
