*Job Description*:
As the Paralegal, you will collaborate closely with our lawyers, offering comprehensive support to the legal team. Your responsibilities will include communicating with clients, counsel, and court officials, drafting documents, assisting with research, and ensuring the smooth operation of our legal processes. We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented individual who is comfortable engaging with clients.
*Key Responsibilities*:
* Prepare and process legal documents and papers.
* Organize and maintain documents in an electronic filing system.
* Gather and arrange documents and information for lawyer review and case preparation.
* Assist lawyers by researching legal precedent, investigating facts, or preparing legal documents.
* Communicate with clients, counsel, and court officials in person, by telephone, or in writing.
* Maintain regular communication with clients.
* Manage lawyers schedule.
* Uphold the firm's commitment to excellence, relationship-building, and empowerment.
*Qualifications*:
* Proven experience as a paralegal.
* Knowledge of legal procedures, protocols, and court systems.
* Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to work with legal technology (DivorceMate, Esilaw, Lawmatics, etc.)
* Excellent time-management and typing skills.
* Strong written and oral communication skills.
* Paralegal certification or a degree in legal studies is preferred.
