Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Odours. Work setting: Agricultural chemical processing plant. Willing to relocate. Tasks: Monitor instruments on one or more chemical formulation units. Clean and maintain work space. Measure, weigh and load chemical ingredients following formulation cards. Record production information. Start up, shut down and troubleshoot equipment. Take samples. Perform routine chemical and physical tests of products. Operate equipment from a control room or from control consoles located near the production units. Adjust processing machines and equipment. Monitor reaction processes and transfers of products in conformance with safety procedures. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Office. MS Word. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Personal suitability: Accurate. Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication. Excellent written communication. Flexibility. Team player.
