The City of Meadow Lake is looking enthusiastic, creative, and team focused individual to provide leadership, planning and oversight of the Summer Day Camp program. Key Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Supervise and provide leadership and support to Day Camp Leaders and Leaders in training Proactively identify and solve problems for participants, parents and leaders Provide excellent communication to participants, parents and leaders Provide planned schedules for leaders to follow Ensure staff adhere to policies and procedures Ensure safety of children and leaders Supervise and lead school-aged children in planned programming Assist in camp registration Provide on going paperwork to leaders Provide a follow up summary of the Summer Day Camp Program Qualifications: Previous experience in a supervisory position Current Standard First Aid and CPR C/AED Minimum of 18 years Post secondary in Recreation, Child Education is considered an asset Ability to work individually or in a team environment Ability to problem solve in unplanned situations Successful candidates will be required to complete a Criminal Record and Vulnerable sector check Hours: Monday-Friday, up to 40 hours per week Wages: As per Union Contract- $17.38/ hr Start Date: June 10,2024 (Start date negotiable)
