<p>Casual Summer Employment - Custodian - SEIU - <p>Competition #3410<p>Tentative dates: July 2, 2024 to August 2, 2024Wage: $20.82/hour<p>The Chinook School Division is seeking individuals interested in temporary summer employment providing custodial support at the following locations: Vanguard School (max. 80 hrs.), Val Marie School (max. 120 hrs.), Shaunavon High School (max. 120 hrs.) .<p>Students who are 16 years of age or older in high school or post-secondary education are encouraged to apply.<p>Preferences will be given to applicants who: <p> Demonstrate mechanical aptitude <p> Demonstrate diligence, strong work ethic, and pride in workmanship <p> Have experience with minor interior and exterior repairs/maintenance <p> Demonstrate an interest in students and in education <p> Display a positive attitude, energy, initiative and enthusiasm <p> Have completed WHMIS training (For free training visit https://www.worksafesask.ca/training/online-courses/online-whmis-training/ )<p>Duties (may include but are not limited to): <p> Assisting the Facility Operators with general custodial duties <p> Deep cleaning, floor care <p> Minor repairs/maintenance <p> Yard work <p> Operating mechanical equipment such as lawn mower, power scrubber, etc. <p> Extensive lifting may be required up to and including 20-40kg.<p>Interested applicants are asked to Apply Online via the Chinook online employment page found at www.chinooksd.ca/Employment.
