RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Verify gross margin calculations for departments.2. Create entries during the cut-off period.3. Reconcile general/sub ledger accounts.4. Audit department receiving books.5. Investigate statements to ensure accuracy.6. Statistics Canada Surveys.7. Ability to submit government remittances8. Assist in Accounts Payable and Sales Audit9. Perform other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTSEmployee must approach work with a professional, positive attitude, portrayinga business-like image at all times. Employee must be dependable, punctualand able to work independently. Completion of High school educationmandatory, post-secondary education or equivalent experience in accountingis preferred. Requires good investigative and problem-solving skills. Strongcomputer skills and knowledge of Excel required. Ability to move fileselectronically within computer programs a must. Previous experience in assets,perpetual inventories, general ledgers and receiving an asset.- LocationSwift Current, SK
