The position is a Full Time position and will be located in Bedford, NS. Purpose of PositionThis position is responsible for the timely processing of vendor invoices and employee expense claims.Reporting StructureThis position reports to the Transaction Manager, Accounts Payable.Major Responsibilities:Accurate and efficient processing of vendor invoices and employee expense claimsReconciling vendor accounts and responding to vendor inquiries Applying manual payments, credit blocks and debit memos in SAPPrepare working papers to support outstanding payable balances reconciled to the general ledgerResponding to business inquiries on invoice and payment statusAssist in weekly payment processing as requiredRelated administrative tasks and other duties as requiredKey Behavioral Competencies (Personal Characteristics)Dedicated, hardworking and detail orientedExcellent time management skillsSelf-motivated and driven to succeedFlexible in their work schedule and able to work with minimal supervisionMust be willing to work in a fast paced and deadline driven team environmentQualificationsBusiness degree or diploma or 2 years equivalent work experience.Above average knowledge of Microsoft Excel.International Experience.SAP user knowledge is an asset.Clear and effective communication skills, both verbally and written.Strong problem solving skills.
