*Hoco Hotels is seeking a Front Desk Agent for The Windsor Hotel in Stratford, Ontario to work the AM (7-3) or PM (3-11) shift* Key Job Responsibilities * Greeting all guests with enthusiasm and prepared to provide information regarding all aspects of what The Windsor and The Stratford Hotel has to offer. * Ensures all aspects of room reservation process are followed, including bookings, confirmations, and cancellation policies. * Follows all Hoco's check-in /out procedures, issuing key codes, and ensuring mandatory details are covered while building genuine rapport and relationships with our guests. * Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, debit, or credit. * Respond to all guest requests promptly with follow-up communication to ensure 100% guest satisfaction. * Responsible for monitoring hotel lobby cleanliness and participating in maintaining high standards of cleanliness at all times. * Perform housekeeping duties as requested. * Troubleshoot minor maintenance and technology issues * Process end-of-day procedures and ensure PMS is up to date. * Perform other reasonable job duties as requested. What We Look For * Exceptional written + verbal communication skills * 1-2 years previous Front Desk/Guest Service experience in a fast-paced, luxury/boutique hotel operation in North America * Flexible schedule and can work weekends and holidays. * Self-starter who is comfortable working independently with minimal supervision. * Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing, always challenging hotel startup environment. * Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 20 pounds without assistance. * Must be able to stand for extended periods. The starting rate of $17.50 per hour and full rate of pay of $18.50 per hour not including incentives.
