Come to the Okanagan Similkameen and see where your career takes you! <p>POSTING: #00-2024/25 Teacher Teaching On Call (TTOC) School District No. 53 (Okanagan Similkameen) is hiring Teacher Teaching On Call teachers for the 2024/25 school year. <p>Qualifications Required: recognized education degree;<p> recently graduated or soon to be graduated from a recognized education program or recent successful classroom experience;<p> ability to adapt curriculum, programs, and instruction to meet the diverse needs of students;<p> ability to model, teach and foster social, emotional and cultural awareness;<p> knowledge of current 21st century pedagogy and assessment practices;<p> demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to the professional community at the school and district level;<p> effective communication, interpersonal, organizational and classroom management skills;<p> ability to integrate technologies and digital citizenship into educational programs; and<p> BC Professional Teaching Certificate and current eligibility for Teacher Qualification Service card. <p>For further information please email: employment@sd53.bc.ca Please review and follow application guidelines on our website: Click Here<p>Short-listed candidates will be contacted.
