Air Borealis was born of a partnership between PAL Airlines and the Innu and Inuit of Labrador to bring more travel options to the people of Labrador and Quebec's Lower North Shore. Air Borealis is currently seeking qualified applicants for Full-Time First Officer positions in Goose Bay, NL. Do you like a challenge in fast-paced environment? Air Borealis operates in challenging weather conditions where our flight operations team works diligently to ensure quality and consistent air service to the people of Labrador. As a member of our flight operations team, you assume the responsibility for safe and efficient operation of our Twin Otter fleet, working for a company that is the lifeline for the indigenous communities of Labrador. Exploring the Big Land, you'll come to work in some of the beautiful and remote places in Canada. Qualifications: Valid Commercial Pilot License Current Instrument Rating Multi-Engine Rating Must be able to obtain a clear criminal record check Must be able to obtain a Transport Canada Security Clearance Must be able to work flexible shifts and pick shifts on short notice for additional flights, charters, and vacation/sick leave coverage Excellent communication and organization skills Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills Ability to work with others Preference will be given to candidates with the following: Successful completion of IATRA or ATPL exams 500 hours of total time What we offer: Competitive salary with an excellent health benefits package Defined contribution pension plan Employee Stock Purchase Program Travel privileges Opportunity for growth Air Borealis is committed to fostering an inclusive work environment that celebrates and encourages diversity, equity, and inclusion whereby individuals are recognized, supported, and respected.
