Job details
Axis Health Center is looking for a Kinesiologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of bio-mechanics, exercise physiology, and motor control, and common health conditions, and treat musculoskeletal injuries. The successful candidate will work with both the other providers (physio, chiro, massage, acupuncture) to optimize patient care in their treatment plans. The current position would require training on reception/front desk duties to assist calling patients, booking as well as checking-in and out. The successful candidate would ideally move away from front-desk duties to working predominantly with patients.
The successful candidate will have a positive demeanour and work well with a team; be long-term minded, trainable and willing to learn and adapt to changes in duties and responsibilities; learn treatment modalities and work efficiently with clinical operating procedures to ensure a smooth and enjoyable patient experience. They should also be outgoing and engaging while also maintaining professional conduct and abide by HIPA for all confidential patient information. This is an excellent opportunity both for upper advancement and those looking for hands-on clinical experience.
The successful candidate will have a bechelor of Kinesiology and should be registered with the Canadian Kinesiology Alliance (CKA) ,the Kinesiologist Association of Saskatchewan (KAS), as well as CSEP-CEP.

Responsibilities:
* Maintain all registration requirements with CSEP, CKA and KAS and be in good standing.
* Be personable and engaging with patients for a positive clinical experience.
* Train on front-desk duties, opening and closing clinical duties, and daily clinical and admin tasks as they arise.
* Develop and implement rehabilitation programs for clients with physical disabilities.
* Maintain clear and updated SOAP notes for all appointments through our clinic EMR system.
* Work as a team member to implement exercise programs tailored to the individual needs of patients.
* Educate clients on the importance of physical activity and healthy lifestyle choices.
Complimentary chiropractic care would be included for this position. Other services my be available as well.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 ? 24 per week
