<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p><strong>Expectations and Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for the following tasks, but not limited to:</p><p><strong>Administrative</strong></p><p>• Manage appointment requests, respond to inquiries, and oversee workflow within the office.</p><p>• Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the Academic Dean and Dean of Theology. This may include directing student <span class="long-word">complaints/concerns</span> to the Deans, preparing cheque requisitions, etc.</p><p>• Assist in the coordination of reports from the Deans' Office.</p><p>• Research/collate date for the Deans re: various Academic Reviews.</p><p><strong>Human Resources</strong></p><p>• Receive, collate, and coordinate faculty applications and contract management.</p><p>• Coordinate interviews, maintain filing systems, and liaise with Finance regarding salary matters.</p><p>• Liaise with the Finance and HR Office in faculty/teaching assistant related matters as necessary.</p><p><strong>Academic Cyclical Responsibilities</strong></p><p>• Manage and communicate important deadlines in the Deans' Office.</p><p>• Coordinate course evaluations, syllabi requests, and textbook ordering.</p><p>• Maintain faculty email lists, troubleshoot issues, and respond to inquiries as necessary.</p><p><strong>College Events and Meetings</strong></p><p>• Assist in organizing academic committees and meetings chaired by the Deans.</p><p>• Coordinate faculty teaching observations and academic reviews.</p><p>• Provide logistical support for various events and projects organized by the Deans' Office.</p><p>• Assist with other College events (e.g., academic conferences) when needed.</p></div>Company Description<div>The Community of St. Mark's at UBC is comprised of St. Mark's College, Corpus Christi College, and St. Mark's Parish.
