<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Maintain carriage of power of sale files from beginning to end</li><li>Preparation of demand letters, default judgment, motion records and writs of possession, discharge statements, and other related documents</li><li>Communicate with debtors regarding resolutions, as required</li><li>Preparing and sending document requests to client as required</li><li>Review title searches</li><li>Review file and escalate concerns to lawyer</li><li>Produce the highest quality of work</li><li>Accountable for all work assigned</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Law Clerk Diploma</li><li>Minimum 2-5 years previous experience as a Mortgage Enforcement Law Clerk</li><li>Strong knowledge of the power of sale process in Ontario</li><li>The ability to effectively balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail</li><li>Successful completion of a related post-secondary education program in a law clerk program</li></ul><p><strong>Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Microsoft Office 365 suite of applications</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication</li><li>Able to work independently</li><li>Ability to problem solve; good judgement and decision making</li><li>High level of professionalism</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills</li><li>Organized</li><li>Resourceful</li><li>Detailed</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>Business casual dress</li><li>On-site parking</li><li>Located at Finch Subway Station</li><li>Extended Health Benefits</li></ul><p><strong>Schedule:</strong></p><ul><li>8 hour shift; 9 a.m.-5p.m.</li><li>Monday to Friday</li></ul></div>Company Description<div>Who We Are:<br/>Agueci Calabretta, colloquially known as AC Law, is a boutique law firm focused on debtor/creditor law with an emphasis on mortgage enforcement and real estate transactions for financial institutions.<br><br>What We Are Looking For:<br/>We are looking for an experienced Mortgage Enforcement Law Clerk, for a full-time, permanent position, to join our dynamic and growing firm in servicing our financial institution clients. This is a good position for someone who is detailed oriented, a self-starter with excellent technical skills and has the ability to work both within a team and independent environment.
