Job Title: Night Crew Clerk *Location:* Windermere Safeway *Department:* Grocery / Night Operations *Reports To:* Night Crew Manager / Store Manager Job Summary The Night Crew Clerk plays a vital role in ensuring the store is fully stocked, organized, and ready for customers each morning. This position is responsible for unloading deliveries, stocking shelves, maintaining store cleanliness, and supporting overnight store operations in a safe and efficient manner. Key Responsibilities * Stock shelves, displays, and coolers with grocery merchandise during overnight hours * Unload and organize product from delivery trucks * Face and rotate products according to company standards (FIFO) * Ensure accurate pricing and proper product placement * Maintain cleanliness and organization of aisles, stockrooms, and work areas * Identify and report damaged, expired, or missing merchandise * Follow all safety, food handling, and loss prevention procedures * Provide support to other departments as needed * Complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes to meet store readiness goals Qualifications & Skills * High school diploma or equivalent preferred * Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks * Basic math and reading skills * Previous retail or grocery experience is an asset but not required Working Conditions * Overnight/late-night shifts * Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and walking * Fast-paced environment with deadlines What Safeway Offers * Competitive wages * Flexible scheduling * Employee discounts * Opportunities for growth and advancement * Inclusive and supportive work environment Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 10 ? 24 per week Benefits: * Dental care * Designated paid holidays * On-site parking * Store discount * Vision care * Wellness program Work Location: In person
