Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements . Clean and prepare surfaces. Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets. Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices and trim. Cut openings in lath for heating and ventilation piping, ducts and electrical outlets. Install exterior and interior steel studs. Prepare wall and ceiling layouts. Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages. Transportation/travel information: Own vehicle. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Standing for extended periods. Weight handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Hard hat. Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Team player. Screening questions: Are you authorized to work in Canada?. Are you available for shift or on-call work?. Do you have experience working in this field?.
