Three (3) years of winter maintenance or winter and summer maintenance work experience which includes one (1) year of supervisory experience. OR high school graduation or GED and six (6) years of winter maintenance or winter and summer maintenance work which includes one (1) year of supervisory experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft Work and Excel. Valid Class 5 driver's license as issued by the Province of New Brunswick.If there are no applicants with the above essential qualifications, we may consider applicants with the following qualifications and appoint at a lower classification.Highway Supervisor I: Diploma from a recognized two (2) year Civil Engineering Technology program in a related field One (1) year of related work experience which includes one (1) year of supervisory experience. OR high school graduation or GED and four (4) years of winter maintenance work or winter and summer maintenance work experience which includes one (1) year of supervisory experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Valid Class 5 driver's license as issued by the Province of New Brunswick.An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.Written and spoken competence in French is required.
