*Job Overview* We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver with own car to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism to uphold our company's reputation for dependable service. Candidates with experience in freight handling, commercial driving, or heavy equipment operation are encouraged to apply. *Responsibilities* * Safely operate delivery vehicles, including trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations. * Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or hand trucks when necessary. * Ensure accurate delivery of products by verifying orders and obtaining signatures upon receipt. * Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle and delivery equipment. * Follow all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues. * Perform basic vehicle inspections before and after routes to ensure proper functioning. * Assist with warehouse duties such as inventory management or equipment operation as needed. *Qualifications* * Valid driver?s license with a clean driving record. * Experience in commercial driving, freight handling, or heavy equipment operation preferred. * Knowledge of automotive repair basics is a plus for vehicle maintenance needs. * Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy equipment is desirable but not mandatory. * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate deliveries. * Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. * Ability to lift heavy packages and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading freight. * Prior experience in logistics or delivery services is advantageous but not required.
