Evaluate an organization's Internet presence. Evaluate communication strategies and programs. Evaluate the marketing strategies used by establishments. Implement communication strategies and programs. Oversee the preparation of written material for website content. Review written material, such as reports, briefs, speeches, presentations and press releases. Supervise staff. Hire, train, direct and motivate staff. Manage contracts. Market business services. Plan and control budget and expenditures. Direct and evaluate establishments and departments that develop and implement communication strategies and information programs. Direct and evaluate establishments and departments that publicize activities and events on behalf of businesses, governments and other organizations. Initiate and maintain contact with the media.
