*Hitch Assistant* We are currently looking for individuals to assist our Hitch installers. You must have an excellent work ethic, positive attitude, be a team player, and have technical experience. (mechanical and electrical experience, hitch and wiring experience an asset.) *Duties and Responsibilities:* * Assist with Installing trailer and fifth wheel hitches, wire tow vehicles and perform maintenance and repairs on trailer frames, undercarriage and suspension. * Assist with Inspecting and repairing single/tandem-axle trailers, tow bars, hitches, and car-top carriers. Repair damaged panels, axles, suspension and associated equipment. * Maintain a clean and organized work space. * Have a high attention to detail; good written and verbal communication; have good hand-eye coordination; able to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel regularly and lift up to 50 lbs. * Adhere to all internal policies and health and safety guidelines. * Perform any other duties as assigned. *Qualifications* * Mechanical and electronics aptitude; troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities. * Self-directed initiative, ability to work with limited supervision and able to see the job through. * Being physically fit - able to work in all weather conditions, need good hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity and heavy lifting may be required. * Excellent communication skills - must be able to clearly speak, read, and write in English. * Have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. * Able to work well in a team or on their own.
