Job details
Responsibilities * Sort all linens and treat stains * Load all laundry into washer * Take wet, clean items and dry as directed * Sort and fold clean dried items * Maintain inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicate needs to housekeeping manager * Maintaining all laundry equipment and inform facilities manager as to any maintenance needs * Deliver stock to housekeeping storages on various floors * Strip dirty linens/towels from vacant rooms for room attendant staff * Clean public area such as public washroom and hallways Key Requirements: * Must be able to lift 20 pounds on a consistent basis * Experience not required but preferred * Flexible schedule and reliable * Must be a fast pace worker and work well with others * Multi-tasking skills \*\*Must have reliable transport. Transit in the area is usually not reliable and does not offer a drop off location close to the building. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Part-time hours: 30-40 per week Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour Experience: * Hotel Laundry: 1 year (preferred) Language: * English (required) Licence/Certification: * Class 5 Licence (preferred) Work Location: In person- Location Calgary, AB
