Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Tasks: Direct and control the operations of commercial facilities. Evaluate the operations of facilities and the included real estate. Plan and organize construction projects. Plan and organize the operations of the facilities and the included real estate. Administer contracts for the provision of supplies and services. Direct the maintenance and repair of an establishment's machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems. Hire and oversee training and supervision of staff. Oversee the installation, maintenance and repair of real estate infrastructures including machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems. Troubleshoot problems related to equipment. Organize and maintain inventory. Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards. Recommend or arrange for additional services required such as painting, repair work, renovations or replacement of furnishings and equipment. Supervision: 5-10 people.
