Join our dedicated team of leading experts in the battery industry.The Warehouse Worker will report directly to the Warehouse Supervisor. Duties & Responsibilities:<ul><li>Must have experience to operate a forklift</li><li>Order picking, labelling, and palletizing for shipment</li><li>Assisting delivery drivers in loading orders onto delivery trucks</li><li>Receive, sort and transfer stock to appropriate warehouse location</li><li>Utilizes battery charging area to charge or test new and returned product.</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment</li><li>Ability to work with minimal supervision</li></ul>Experience, Skills & Competencies:<ul><li>Experience in order fill, shipping, receiving and general warehouse duties preferred.</li><li>Must be willing and able to frequently lift and/or move boxes up to 40 lbs. regularly lift and/or move up to 60 lbs. and rarely lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.</li><li>Operate a forklift or other material handling equipment</li><li>Good communication skills (listening to and following instructions, conveying information to colleagues and to supervisor/manager) </li><li>Ability to follow processes and adhere to safety standards (WHIMS & TDG)</li></ul>Other Considerations:<ul><li>Background checks including criminal checks and employment references will be requested.</li></ul>We are dedicated to recognizing our employees by offering:<ul><li>Great Pay including shift allowance, where applicable</li><li>Profit Sharing & Deferred Profit Sharing (retirement) program</li><li>Excellent company paid benefit program</li><li>Learning & development opportunities, including tuition reimbursement</li><li>Opportunities for advancement</li></ul> East Penn Canada is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes all qualified applicants to apply; all reasonable accommodations will be made for people with disabilities.
