*Overview* We are seeking a skilled and dedicated carpenter to join our restoration team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various aspects of construction, including scope reading, concrete forming, restoration, siding, and carpentry. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects requiring hands-on expertise with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and welding. The position is full-time and involves engaging in both residential and commercial construction projects, emphasizing quality craftsmanship and safety. *Duties* * Interpret and follow detailed scopes, blueprints and schematics to execute construction tasks accurately * Install siding, perform carpentry tasks, and work with wood using woodworking techniques * Operate heavy equipment safely to assist in large-scale construction activities * Use hand tools and power tools efficiently for framing, cutting, shaping, and assembly * Conduct welding operations as needed for structural repairs or custom fabrication * Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment to ensure project progress * Construct and install concrete forms, perform concrete finishing, and handle restoration projects * Assist in the installation of various building components according to project specifications * Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols *Experience* * Proven experience in construction-related roles with knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics * Experience in restoration * Hands-on experience with concrete forming, finishing, and restoration projects * Familiarity with siding installation, carpentry, woodworking, and the use of hand tools and power tools * Experience operating heavy machinery or equipment used in construction sites * Ability to perform welding tasks with proper safety procedures * Prior work involving heavy lifting and physical labor required for demanding construction environments * Knowledge of safety standards related to construction sites is essential This position is ideal for individuals passionate about building craftsmanship who thrive in dynamic construction settings.
