We are seeking a professional and organized Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in Saskatoon, Canada. The ideal candidate will oversee our housekeeping staff, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in our facility.Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the housekeeping teamDevelop and implement cleaning schedules and proceduresConduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to cleanliness standardsTrain new staff members and provide ongoing guidance to the teamManage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipmentAddress guest concerns and feedback promptly and professionallyCollaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operationsPrepare reports on housekeeping activities and performance metricsEnforce safety regulations and maintain a safe working environmentAssist in hiring, evaluating, and disciplining housekeeping staff as neededImplement and monitor quality control measures to maintain consistent cleanliness standardsDevelop and manage the housekeeping department budgetCoordinate with maintenance staff to address any facility issues that impact cleanlinessImplement eco-friendly cleaning practices and promote sustainability initiativesConduct regular team meetings to discuss performance, goals, and areas for improvementQualifications2-3 years of experience in housekeeping, preferably in a supervisory roleStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesProficiency in housekeeping techniques and standardsKnowledge of cleaning products and equipmentBasic computer skills, including MS Office and scheduling softwareExperience in high-end Independent Living facility (preferred)High school diploma or equivalent (required)Hospitality management or related certification (preferred)Understanding of health and safety regulationsExperience in inventory management and budgetingAbility to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidaysPhysical stamina to perform housekeeping duties when necessaryStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsDemonstrated leadership and team management abilitiesAdditional InformationCompany DescriptionSodexo is the global leader in services that improve Quality of Life, an essential factor in individual and organizational performance.
