As a part-time food associate, you will:- Provide a positive customer experience with fair, friendly and courteous service.- Work with a great team and receive all required training for the position.- Register sales on a point-of-sale system by scanning items, itemizing and totaling customer's purchases.- Any other duties needed to help to drive Gateway Co-ops vision and abide by our Co-operative's values. Qualifications:- High school diploma or GED - Must be 19 years or older in age.- Experience as a grocery clerk or retail experience is an asset.- Excellent attention to detail.- Excellent communication, people and customer service skills.- Must be able to multi-task in a very fast paced environment and have capability to work independently.- Positive attitude, strong interpersonal expertise and energetic personality.- Physically able to do heavy lifting of 22 kgs (50 lbs.), climbing, kneeling.- Willing to work all shifts scheduled including mornings, evenings and weekends.- Location Buchanan, SK
