Atlantic Region is a senior leadership position responsible for the overall performance, safety, and regulatory compliance of Avenir Energy's service operations across Atlantic Canada. This role provides direct leadership to Gasfitter A and Gasfitter B technicians, ensuring consistent technical standards, operational excellence, and exceptional customer service across multiple branches and jurisdictions.The Service Manager plays a critical role in aligning field service operations with corporate objectives while maintaining full compliance with provincial regulators and industry codes.Location: Candidates should be based in HRM, Truro, Stellarton, or nearby areas.What You'll DoProvide leadership, coaching, and technical oversight to Gasfitter A and B technicians across the Atlantic regionOversee day-to-day service operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant execution of service and installation workEnsure adherence to all applicable provincial codes, regulations, and safety authority requirements across Atlantic CanadaManage staffing, scheduling, on-call rotations, performance management, and employee developmentLead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and regional communications to reinforce Avenir's safety-first cultureMonitor operational KPIs, service performance metrics, and productivity targets, implementing continuous improvement initiativesAct as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues, customer concerns, and service-related complaintsLead investigations into service incidents and near misses, ensuring corrective and preventative actions are implementedOversee service equipment, tools, fleet coordination, inventory controls, and required reportingCollaborate with Operations, Sales, Safety, and Supply teams to align service delivery with business objectivesSupport audits, inspections, and interactions with provincial regulators and external stakeholdersTravel regularly throughout Atlantic Canada to support branches, technicians, and operational needsWhat You BringGasfitter A certificationProven experience leading and supervising regulated technical trades (Gasfitters, Service Technicians, or similar)Strong working knowledge of propane systems, service operations, and installation practicesDemonstrated understanding of industry codes, safety standards, and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictionsMinimum 5+ years of progressive leadership or operations experience in propane, energy, HVAC, or a related technical fieldStrong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skillsAbility to manage performance, coach teams, and build a strong safety cultureProficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with service management systems or KPIs is an assetValid driver's license with a clean driving recordWillingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the Atlantic region (up to ~50%)Working ConditionsCombination of office, field, outdoor, and warehouse environmentsExposure to varying weather conditions and in
