*Overview* We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tandoor Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for authentic food preparation and a strong background in food service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase expertise in traditional cooking techniques, particularly using a tandoor oven, while delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. The Tandoor Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes that highlight our cultural cuisine, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety. *Duties* * Prepare and cook a variety of dishes using the tandoor oven, including bread, meats, and vegetables, maintaining authentic flavors and presentation standards * Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients for various menu items * Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are strictly followed to maintain hygiene standards * Serve dishes to guests in a professional and courteous manner, providing excellent food service experience * Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces * Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing * Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation during busy service hours * Follow recipes accurately and adapt techniques as needed to meet quality standards *Requirements* * Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred * Knowledge of traditional Indian cuisine and proficiency with tandoor ovens is highly desirable * Strong understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures * Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail * Kitchen experience with meal preparation and food industry standards is essential * Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment * Prior experience in restaurant or food service roles demonstrating reliability and professionalism Join our team as a Tandoor Cook and bring authentic flavors to life while delivering memorable dining experiences.
