Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems. Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems. Repair or replace mechanical units or components. Perform scheduled maintenance service. Complete reports to record problems and work performed. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification. Area of specialization: Engine repair. Electrical and electronic system. Diagnostics. Welding. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Standing for extended periods. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Accurate. Excellent oral communication. Reliability.
