The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Conference Centre Regina is seeking an experienced and engaging Banquet Supervisor to join our team. What You'll Be DoingLead the Team * Inspire, coach, and support banquet team members to deliver exceptional service. * Foster a positive, respectful, and engaged work environment. * Effectively delegate responsibilities and ensure team members are set up for success. Deliver Exceptional Events * Oversee banquet operations and ensure events are executed according to the Banquet Event Order (BEO). * Coordinate staffing and resources to meet operational needs. * Monitor event progress and adjust as necessary to ensure flawless execution. Build Relationships * Serve as the primary point of contact for function conveners during events. * Create positive guest experiences through professional communication and attentive service. * Address concerns promptly and confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction. Drive Excellence * Maintain service standards and operational consistency. * Lead by example and demonstrate a hands-on approach when supporting the team. * Ensure all health, safety, and service standards are upheld. What We're Looking For * Full open availability. * Minimum 2 years of Food & Beverage experience, preferably in a supervisory or leadership capacity. * Current Serve It Right Certification (or provincial equivalent). * Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Proven ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members. * Strong delegation and organizational skills. * A positive, approachable, and solutions-focused attitude. * Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment.
