Job Summary: We're looking for a skilled and dedicated Heavy Duty Mechanic helper to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of heavy equipment and machinery. This includes performing routine inspections, troubleshooting complex issues, and carrying out both preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure our equipment operates safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: \* Assist lead mechanics with vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs. \* Perform basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks. \* Clean and organize the workshop, tools, and equipment. \* Retrieve parts and supplies as needed for repair jobs. \* Help with vehicle preparation and movement within the shop. \* Maintain a safe and clean work environment. \* Learn and follow all safety procedures and company policies. Qualifications: \* High school diploma or equivalent. \* Basic understanding of vehicle mechanics is a plus, but not required. \* Strong willingness to learn and take direction. \* Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions. \* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. \* Valid driver's license preferred. \* Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team.
