310T Truck & Coach Technician (Licensed) / 310T Apprentice *Location:* Barwick, Ontario *Company:* Barwick Service Join Our Growing Team Barwick Service is entering an exciting new chapter under new ownership and is working alongside Dimit Bus Lines to provide a full range of transportation and automotive repair services throughout Northwestern Ontario. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated *Licensed 310T Truck & Coach Technician or registered 310T Apprentice* to join our team in Barwick, Ontario. What You'll Do As a member of our shop team, you will inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of heavy-duty vehicles, including school buses, commercial trucks, and fleet vehicles. Apprentices will work under the guidance of experienced licensed technicians while continuing to develop their skills. Responsibilities include: * Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, brake, steering, suspension, HVAC, and drivetrain systems. * Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing. * Complete engine, transmission, and differential repairs as required. * Conduct safety inspections and ensure vehicles meet all applicable safety standards. * Troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems using diagnostic equipment. * Accurately document inspections, repairs, parts used, and labour performed. * Work efficiently to minimize vehicle downtime. * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. * Collaborate with fellow technicians and management to ensure quality customer service. Qualifications * Valid Ontario *310T Truck & Coach Technician Licence*, *or* currently registered as a *310T Apprentice*. * Experience servicing heavy-duty trucks, buses, or commercial vehicles is considered an asset. * Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn (apprentices). * Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities (licensed technicians). * Knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, air brakes, and hydraulic systems. * Valid Class G driver's licence (DZ or B licence considered an asset). * Clean driver's abstract. * Ability to provide a Criminal Record Check. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. * Excellent organizational and communication skills. * Physically capable of lifting, bending, standing, and working in a shop environment.
