*Job Summary* We are seeking a dependable and experienced Long Haul Truck Drivers to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to safety regulations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism, with opportunities to work with heavy equipment and perform basic automotive repairs as needed. The position offers a dynamic work environment and the chance to contribute significantly to our logistics operations. *Responsibilities* * Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks for freight transportation across designated routes * Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance * Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs * Assist with basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting minor mechanical issues when required * Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during operations * Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate deliveries * Perform routine maintenance tasks on trucks and heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance *Qualifications* * Valid Class 1 Commercial Driver?s License (CDL) with a clean driving record * Experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields preferred * Knowledge of heavy equipment operation such as forklifts is a plus * Basic automotive repair skills are desirable but not mandatory * Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in various conditions * Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during routes * Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual tasks as required This position offers an engaging opportunity for experienced drivers seeking a professional role in freight transportation with room for skill development in heavy equipment operation and vehicle maintenance.
