We are seeking a *detail-oriented and experienced General Accountant* to join our Finance team. *Position Overview:* Reporting to the Financial Controller, the *General Accountant* will be responsible for *Accounts Receivable, Epicor-CMS ERP transactions, reconciliations, and general accounting functions*. The successful candidate will be organized, analytical, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. *Key Responsibilities* *Daily/Weekly Activities:* * Update cashbook and post banking transactions in Epicor-CMS ERP * Run weekly Aging reports and follow up on outstanding receivables * Post journal entries into Epicor-CMS ERP * Review AP cheque-runs and wire payments for accuracy * Prepare timely and accurate bank and GL account reconciliations * Post AR invoices and customer payments in Epicor-CMS ERP * Assist the Controller with account analysis and ad-hoc queries. * Month-End Activities * Prepare and post month-end journal entries in a timely manner * Reconcile intercompany accounts accurately * Prepare accruals and prepayment schedules and post related entries * Assist the Controller with financial statement preparation and analysis *Qualifications & Skills* * Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience * Strong knowledge of Canadian GAAP * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel * Experience with Epicor-CMS ERP * Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred * Excellent communication skills and attention to detail * Self-starter with strong organizational and problem-solving skills *What We Offer* * Competitive salary and benefits package. * Opportunities for professional development and training. * A supportive and collaborative team environment. * Exposure to both customer-facing and supplier-facing quality responsibilities.
