<p>Active Dynamics is a progressive OEM supplier that designs, tests, and manufactures unique solutions for multiple systems and multiple industries.</p><p>This full-service, end-to-end capabilities are paired with a collaborative, creative approach, global reach, and agile structure to offer real-world benefits in terms of turnaround time, cost, service, and customization.</p><p>We're always growing, always evolving, and always finding new ways to bring meaningful value to our customers and partners.</p><p>As a world leader in the design and manufacturing industry, Active Dynamics is seeking an eager and enthusiastic experienced CNC Machinist to join our successful Toronto team!</p><p>We are looking for a talent with solid professional skills in the manufacturing industry who can provide superb work experience.</p><p>This posting is for an existing, immediate vacancy.</p><p>The CNC Machinist is responsible for programming, setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC machining equipment to manufacture components for welding fixtures, checking fixtures, prototype tooling, and production support activities.</p><p>Duties and Responsibilities: CNC Programming Review CAD models and engineering drawings to develop CNC machining programs.</p><p>Create, modify, and optimize G-code programs for CNC milling and turning operations.</p><p>Recommend machining strategies to improve quality, cycle time, and manufacturability.</p><p>Machining Operations Set up and operate CNC milling and turning equipment.</p><p>Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and workholding methods.</p><p>Prepare raw materials for machining operations.</p><p>Quality Control Inspect machined components using precision measuring equipment.</p><p>Verify compliance with engineering drawings and GD&T requirements.</p><p>Review CMM reports and modify CNC programs to address dimensional deviations.</p><p>Equipment & Inventory Perform routine maintenance of CNC equipment.</p><p>Coordinate preventative maintenance and major servicing activities.</p><p>Monitor tooling and material inventory levels and communicate replenishment requirements.</p><p>Others Update CNC schedule to ensure accurate reporting of completed work.</p><p>Communication & coordination with all other departments & vendors.</p><p>Performs other duties as assigned.</p><p>Educational Requirement: Mechanical Technician Diploma, Tool & Die Diploma, CNC Machinist Diploma, or equivalent.</p><p>Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 3 years of CNC programming and machining experience.</p><p>Experience with CNC milling and turning operations.</p><p>Knowledge of cutting tools and machining parameters.</p><p>CAM experience (Mastercam).</p><p>Ability to independently set up, troubleshoot, and optimize machining processes.</p><p>Strong understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T.</p><p>Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 CAD Our team includes members with a wide diversity of cultural and technical backgrounds, ages, and experiences.</p><p>We understand that your work at Active should support you no matter your current situation, and we offer several benefits to ensure that your work is fulfilling while respecting your work-life balance: Competitive compensation and vacation packages based on current industry norms.</p><p>Group health benefits.</p><p>RRSP matching.</p><p>Advancement opportunities and lateral movement based on personal interest and qualification.</p><p>We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.</p><p>To be considered, candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.  If you are interested in applying, please send us your resume demonstrating your qualifications, skills, and experience.</p><p>We are committed to diversity and inclusion.</p><p>Active is an equal opportunity employer and qualified candidates will be considered regardless of race, colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, cultural or national- Location Toronto, ON
