*BEFORE APPLYING YOU MUST* -Have a car -Be available MONDAY TO FRIDAY 10am-3PM -Answer the application questions below *Overview* This position would best suit someone who loves animals and would like to spend their time working with them, providing great exercise and fun . Best suited for someone looking to make extra income or eager to turn this into a full time gig. The working hours for walking the dogs is 10AM-3PM. MUST be comfortable with dogs and putting them into the car for transport. *Duties* - Walk dogs of various breeds and sizes in all weather conditions - Ensure the safety and well-being of the dogs in your care - Provide exercise and mental stimulation through engaging walks - Follow specific instructions provided by pet owners regarding their pets - Keep track of each dog's behavior, health, and preferences during walks *Requirements* - Previous experience working with dogs is preferred but not required - Ability to handle dogs of different temperaments and energy levels -20-25 min drive to Garnetwood Dog Park *Candidates MUST:* -Be legally able to work in Canada and legal driving ( CAR IS A MUST) -Have a cellphone with a data plan, a reliable vehicle and current driver licence -Be willing to work in all weather -Hours are have some flexibility but expected to be roughly in between 10AM-3PM -Comfortable walking multiple dogs on leash in both sidewalk and dog park settings *Application question(s)*: MUST BE ANSWERED TO BE CONSIDERED 1- What would be the min number of hours per week that you would find acceptable to start? 2- What would be the ideal number of hours per week for you? 3- What is the closest intersection to your home? 4- Are you comfortable putting dogs into your car and driving with them? 5- Are you interested in dog boarding in your home for extra income? 6- Are you comfortable walking multiple dogs at a time, if so what is the maximum you have walked before at a given time? 7- Have you been to a dog park before?
